About the Speaker
Senior Director
Department of Social Work, TOUCH
Julia Lee holds a Masters in Health Science (Gerontology) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. She is a registered social worker with 40 years of experience in the field of eldercare and supporting persons with special needs. Julia was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Social Worker Award for her impactful contributions in the community and is also a recipient of the 2023 MSF Outstanding Volunteer Award.
Julia has played a pioneering role in developing the Professional Deputies and Donees (PDD) service in TOUCH Community Services, the only Social Service Agency to offer PDD services. She is also a strong advocate for future care planning, reaching both public and private sectors. Julia leads a team of PDDs registered with the Office of the Public Guardian.
