Precepts Trustee Limited is
- Governed by the Trust Companies Act (Chapter 336).
- Supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in respect of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing matters.
Precepts Trustee has five committees, consisting of executive and non-executive directors,
- to oversee the onboarding and administration of trusts (Trust Committee);
- the assessment of risk policies and procedures (Risk Committee);
- the review and execution of ongoing compliance matters to ensure adherence to various local and international legislation (Compliance Committee);
- the review of risk and performance of investment portfolios (Investment Committee);
- and the review of the overall trust business, including the suite of products offered and the marketing of products to our customers (Board).
An internal audit unit, reporting to the Audit Committee, further strengthens Precepts’ corporate governance. The company continually seeks to improve its standard of corporate governance to maintain the trust and confidence of its stakeholders.
